Public Announcement – BTL Tariff Revision

As per the endorsement of revised rates received from BICMA with reference number TELECOM/BT/2007-08/611 and dated 14th May, 2008, Bhutan Telecom is pleased to inform our valued customers of the following tariff rates revision for BTL services:

OFFNET tariff revision – (New rate effective from 17th May, 2008)

“Charo-Charo” (Friends and Family): Coming Soon

A new prepaid plan for friends and family called “Charo-Charo” shall enable you to call your near and dear ones at cheaper discounted rates as following:

Peak	0.75/unit
Off-Peak	0.65/unit
Late-Night	0.55/unit

*One Unit = 20 seconds

The following conditions apply for Charo-Charo:

Only applicable to prepaid customers
Each prepaid customer is allowed to select only 3 numbers in their Charo-Charo list.
Only B-Mobile and BTL Fixed line numbers can be included in the list.
No rental charges are applicable.

Choose-Ur-Group (CUG): Coming Soon

The Choose-Ur-Group (CUG) service allows B-mobile users in a certain group to make calls amongst themselves at a cheaper discounted rate. These packages are ideal for Government offices, Corporate offices, Business houses as well as small and medium enterprises, whereby employees avail cheaper rates by being in the group. The CUG service consisting of three plans are described below:

Doro-Sum-Chu (Doro 30) – The group has a minimum requirement of 20 subscribers and a maximum limit of 30 subscribers. There will be a one-time activation charge of Nu 300 levied to the group without any monthly subscription charges. All calls within this group will be charged at Nu 2 per minute.

Tshogpa-Ja-Tham-Pa (Tshogpa 100) – The group has a minimum requirement of 35 subscribers and a maximum limit of 100 subscribers. We have two variants for this package. One without monthly subscription charges and one with a monthly charge but with cheaper call rates. In the first option the employer/company/organization assures minimum revenue of Nu 20,000 in the form of monthly charges and receives call tariffs at low rate of Nu 1.25/min. If the employer desires not to bear the monthly charges, then they can opt for Option-2 where the rate of Nu 1.80/min is offered with a minimum of 35 subscribers in a group.

The following conditions apply for CUG:

Calls outside the CUG will be charged as per the normal tariff plans attached to them.
The customers should provide their CUG list only once. A nominal fee of Nu. 25.00/number will be charged for any future addition or deletion of number(s) to/from the CUG list.
The CUG should appoint a group administrator. Only the group administrator will be allowed to make changes to the list.
A customer cannot be part of more than one group.
