B-mobile, new Value Added Services (VAS) – Available with effect from 1st of April, 2008

Bhutan Telecom Limited received great response for the B-mobile Value Added Services (VAS) from our valued customers. This has prompted BTL to launch the VAS part II to add more value to your mobile services.  

All B-mobile customers can now avail B-mobile VAS through monthly subscription and enjoy daily updates on the VAS of their choice. The services are applicable for both prepaid and postpaid users. For the prepaid users the Nu 30 per month shall be deducted from the recharge voucher account on the day of the subscription. For example: if you subscribe for “News”, Nu 30 shall be deducted from your account and you shall receive daily news updates for the month. For post paid subscribers, the amount shall be reflected in their monthly bill.

A) SMS based Subscription value added service:
 

  1. Astrology: to subscribe to Astrology, type “Sub Astro’ followed by the first three letters of your sunsign and SMS to 3333 for the subscription.

Eg: SMS “sub astro vir” to 3333 if your sunsign is Virgo
Rate: Nu 30 per month 

  1. News: to avail daily News, send ‘sub news’ to 3333 for monthly subscription. Keep latest news on your fingertips.

      Rate: Nu 30 per month 

  1. Jokes: to subscribe for Jokes service, send ‘sub jokes’ to 3333 for daily dosage of rib tickling jokes.

      Rate: Nu 30 per month 

  1. Thought of the day: to receive daily Thought of the day, SMS ‘sub thought’ to 3333 for monthly subscription. Be thoughtful, be knowledgeable.

      Rate: Nu 30 per month

  1. Greetings: to get Greetings service, SMS ‘sub greet’ to 3333 to receive lovely greeting massages.

      Rate: Nu 30 per month

  1. Health Tips: to receive daily Health tips, send ‘sub health’ to 3333. Healthy living makes your life more memorable.

      Rate: Nu 30 per month 

  1. Zakar: send ‘sub zakar’ to 3333 to get daily Zakar updates. Guiding you in the right way.

      Rate: Nu 30 per month 

 

B) SMS based Pulled value added services - Available from 1st April, 2008.

  1. Weather: SMS ‘weather’ to 3333 to receive weather updates.

Rate: Nu 3 per SMS

  1. Zakar: SMS ‘zakar’ to 3333 to receive zakar forecast.

Rate: Nu 3 per SMS

C) Value added services launched on February, 2008.

  1. IVR/ Voice based services

To avail the following value added services through IVR/ voice based services, dial 4444 from your mobile or 17004444 from fixed line telephone and follow the recorded voice instruction to avail the VAS of your choice.

  1. Ringtones
  2. Polling
  3. News
  4. Jokes
  5. Astrology

Rate: Nu 6 per minute and Nu 7 for ringtone downloads.

  1. SMS based VAS

Send SMS to 3333 to receive SMS based value added services as instructed below:

  1. For News: SMS ‘news’ to 3333.
  2. For Astrology: SMS ‘astro vir’ to 3333 if your sunsign is Virgo.
  3. For Health tips: send ‘health’ to 3333.
  4. For Jokes: send ‘jokes’ to 3333

D) Other VAS
